Happy Monday, I hope everyone had an awesome weekend! This past weekend, I was a crazy busy lady! I had two different shows that I was participating in, and they were awesome. Thank you so much to everyone that came out this weekend and purchased products! It was so amazing to meet people, chat and be part of such a great selling environment with local artists. This weekend really inspired me to keep pushing and working hard on my business, because there is a lot that can be created.
Speaking of creating, I have some new images!!!! With the super moon being around, I thought that it would be fun to go take some photos. To be completely honest with you, I have been feeling bored with my photos, and it is time to mix it up a little. I love a good challenge, so I decided why not try out some photography at night. Yep, not the easiest thing to do, and you have to really be patient. Which I know patience is something that I seriously struggle with, so this is the perfect exercise for me.
I went out last night to hang out in Cleveland and capture some images and I am very happy with the results. I took a new Skyline photo in one of my favorite locations in the city. The night was cool, Terminal tower was showing the Cavs colors, and the lake was still. I could not have asked for a more perfect setting, and I got one of my favorite images ever!
I can't wait to make this image a coaster, wine charm, and put it on some wood! I might even print is on some canvas too!
After I got that image I worked my way to E. 4th street to attempt to show the beauty of that fun part of the city. The street was quiet, everyone was going home after the Cavs game and getting ready for the week.
I am mildly obsessed with the string of lights in the foreground and the starlight that were created with my lens. I think it adds an elegant element to the street.
Speaking of elegance, after I finished on E. 4th street I naturally had to head on over to our elegant Playhouse Square chandelier. Our theatre system is one of the best in the country and it deserves every bit of sparkle that we can give it.
The sparkle of the chandelier, and the lights makes you feel like you are in a "times square" of Cleveland. It really makes our city elegant and fabulous!
So in the end of the day, I think I did a pretty darn good job on my night photography in Cleveland. I am a little bit obsessed with it now, and I think there are going to be many more images to come.
I would love to hear your opinion on the images. Which one is your favorite?
